April was the month we dedicated to GOOD delivery, ensuring all areas of the company were continuing to deliver to the highest standards.
We continued to deliver GOOD Learning to our team members with more LinkedIn Learning sessions held in the office. Two new apprentices, Juno and Shepard, joined the sales team on the Rising Stars Programme and they have embarked on their learning journey working towards the REC Level 2 in Recruitment Resourcing.
A delivery of a different nature this month was to the Thames Valley Adventure Playground– an indoor and outdoor play area for children and adults with special needs. We delivered a hamper filled with chocolate eggs for the children to use in their Easter egg hunt. We were given a tour of the facilities and were impressed by the multi usage of the park and how it caters for children with different needs. The staff were incredibly dedicated and it was wonderful to see how much joy the children experienced from using the playground.
On the topic of chocolate, the BPS Easter Bunny delivered an Easter egg to all our “GOOD Eggs” and the BPS Tough Mudder team worked off all the Easter calories by attending gruelling weekly BOOT Camp sessions in preparation of the Tough Mudder race on 6th May which raises money for the Help for Heroes charity. The team also managed to deliver on their goal of raising £1,400 for the charity and have in fact surpassed this target – Well done to everyone involved.
We also recieved the exciting news that we are finalists in the HR Excellence Awards for Best Learning and Development Strategy for our Stars Programme. The Stars programme delivers a fully rounded approach to learning and development and sets standards for the recruitment industry to maintain. The awards are presented in June so watch this space.....
Finally, our biggest delivery of the month was opening a new office in Belgrade, Serbia. An exciting new venture, enabling us to expand our World Solutions Division. The office will be headed by our newest addition, Ryan Ottman and a team of recruitment professionals. The office will enable us to increase our global delivery goals and create exciting opportunities for our team.
