The value of a GOOD reputation

Written by Andy Cruickshank | June 20, 2017

I was recently interested to read that over 2926 new recruitment agencies launched in the first half of 2016. (source: Companies House).

It’s often said that competition breeds excellence and while that has an element of truth, it has also been interesting to read a number of articles and blogs from Recruitment companies who claim to be “different than the rest” as well as “the market leader”

So, how does a candidate or client choose the right partner to help them assist with what can be a life changing decision, especially when there are so many options in the market? As we have discussed in previous blogs the strength of a "review" weighs very heavily on the decision making process, what was the experience like for someone else?

It can be argued the key lies with the past when you are looking to change your own future.

Since ancient times, human beings have learned to look for familiar spots, food, situations, with the simple premise that repeating something that was done once without any bad consequence (therefore a "tested" thing) may "guarantee" some sort of safety or success and this is why we rely on another person's experience to help make our minds up.

At BPS  World we never claim to be “the greatest” or “the best” simply because we don’t have to.  What we do is let our customers and partners explain why they work with us:

BPS WORLD CLIENT AND CANDIDATE TESTIMONIALS - FEEFO

Repeat business is what we view as GOOD recruitment. The ability to be viewed as “tried and tested” and as “safe and reliable” is what we view as important.

It is true that it costs a lot less to retain a customer than to acquire a new one so it is well worthwhile spending some extra effort to retain the right customers.
