I joined the Rising Stars Apprenticeship Programme in January and am now 3 months into my journey. The apprenticeship will result in me obtaining a Level 2 NVQ in Recruitment and will provide so much more along the way.

In a short time I have learnt many fundamental skills in the world of recruitment but also skills that can be used outside of work.

An in-depth training programme has given me the tools I will need and the confidence in my own ability to succeed. The programme offers an effective way to learn not only from experienced recruiters but also recently graduated apprentices. I have enjoyed being on a constant learning curve where I can get support and guidance with the knowledge those helping me have an interest in my future with the business.

Prior to joining the engineering team I had the chance to work with all of the teams in rotation (Business and Professional, Technology and SAP/ERP) and gained knowledge on other aspects of the business such as Marketing and People & Culture.  Now settled in the engineering team and working on live roles I have the chance to put the skills I have learnt into practice and am working towards my first placement.

The dedication of the company towards developing young talent is a refreshing change to many similar organisations and the company values of Commitment, Delivery, Excellence and Passion build a strong foundation for a great work culture and exciting plans to grow.

With structured learning and development support and great progression opportunities, BPS World really is a fantastic place to work. With 25% of my apprenticeship already completed, I am looking forward to a great future with a forward thinking company.
